Cost

Delivery is free for all addresses inside Zimbabwe, regardless of order value, device size, or city. There is no minimum order threshold for free delivery.

Cross-border deliveries (South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini) carry a courier fee that depends on parcel weight and destination — we provide an exact quote on WhatsApp before you pay.

How the supply chain works

  1. Order placed. You confirm the device, region variant, and delivery city on zimexdubai.com or WhatsApp. We confirm stock and pricing within working hours.
  2. Dispatch from Dubai. Devices fly out on the next available Dubai-Harare flight. The flight schedule runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The cut-off for inclusion on a flight is 12:00 GST the day before. Orders confirmed after the cut-off catch the next flight.
  3. Customs clearance in Harare. ZimexDubai handles all customs paperwork and pays any applicable duties. The customer pays only the order total quoted at checkout — no surprise customs bill at the door.
  4. Final-mile courier. Local couriers move the device from our Harare hub to your address (or to the secondary city's hub for onward delivery).
  5. Hand-over and inspection. The courier verifies your ID matches the order, hands you the device, and waits for you to power it on, check the IMEI, and approve the condition.

Identification at delivery

The courier asks for a government-issued ID matching the name on the order. If someone else is collecting on your behalf, please send us a WhatsApp message in advance with their full name, ID number, and your authorisation. This protects you from delivery fraud.

Tracking your order

We update you at every stage by WhatsApp and email:

  • Order confirmed.
  • Device dispatched from Dubai (with flight number).
  • Device cleared customs in Harare.
  • Out for delivery in your city (with courier driver's contact).
  • Delivered (with collection confirmation).

Address changes

You can change the delivery address at any time before the courier is en route by messaging us on WhatsApp. Once the courier is on the way, address changes within the same city add 1 day; changes to a different city add 1–2 days and may incur a small re-routing fee.

Failed deliveries

If you are not available at the time of delivery, the courier will attempt to call. If we cannot reach you, the device is returned to our Harare depot and we reschedule for the next working day at no extra cost. After two failed delivery attempts we contact you to either reschedule again or cancel for refund.

Damaged or missing parcels

ZimexDubai is responsible for parcels until the moment of hand-over. If the box arrives visibly damaged, please do not accept it — note "Damaged on arrival" on the courier's slip and contact us. We dispatch a replacement at no charge once the courier confirms the damage in writing.

Cross-border deliveries

For destinations in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Namibia, Lesotho, and Eswatini, we route via a cross-border courier from Harare. Transit times are typically 5–8 working days depending on the destination and customs clearance speed at the receiving border. We do not currently handle customs duties on the receiving end — the buyer is responsible for any import VAT, duties, or local clearance fees in their country.

Cancellations before dispatch

You may cancel an unshipped order at any time for a full refund. If the device has already left Dubai or cleared Harare customs, we treat the cancellation as a return — see our returns policy.
